NH25SE 1 291 532 to 287 530.

Opposite Innermany, which is the junction of the stream Meinnidh flowing through Glenmeanie with the Meig, and west of Baile na Creige, Rocktown, is "An Annaid", the annat, or early church, a triangular piece of ground.

Visited by OS (N K B) 21 October 1966

MacDonald (A MacDonald 1973) suggests the triangular enclosure at NH 291 532 is the "triangular piece of ground" (supra), but the area enclosed within the bend of the river at NH 287 530 would appear to fit in better with the description given by Watson.
