NG82NW 3 8272 2768.

At NG 8272 2768 on a small spur is a dun with annexe. The roughly triangular summit of the spur measures 25.0m WSW - ENE by 7.0m at WSW end and 12.0m at ENE end. The dun, near square on plan, occupies the E half of the spur and measures 10.0m NNW - SSE by 9.0m within a wall increasing in width from 1.0m in the WSW to 3.5m at the entrance which is towards the S end of the ENE side. The entrance is blocked by debris and its width cannot be ascertained. The spur is further protected by a wall running SW along its SE side from the SW corner of the dun and ending at the apex of the triangle on a low cliff which in itself defends the NW side of the spur.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (J M) 13 June 1974.
