This marker comprises two slabs that have been wedged together into a natural crevice in an outcrop of bedrock in an area of peaty moorland. The slabs are orientated NW and SE: the SW slab measures 0.65m in length by 80mm in thickness and 0.7m in height; the NE slab measures 0.65m in length by 90mm in thickness and 0.55m in height.
