OS 6" map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1907)

Torran Reitheach is a ploughed-down mound about 3ft high and about 30ft in diameter, in which human remains and an urn were found about 1866-7. It is probably a cairn.

Name Book 1872; RCAHMS 1911, visited 1910.

Torran Reitheach, a probable cairn, set on a slight ridge in an undulating field, is a grass-covered mound 0.5m high and 10.0m in diameter.

Resurveyed at 1:2500.
