(ND 0368 6001) Cairn (NR) (Site of) Human Remains found (NAT)
OS 6" map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1907)
Human remains were found when the top of this Pict's house was removed some time ago, prior to its cultivation. It is still visible as a rise in the ground.
Name Book 1873.
There is an almost ploughed-out rise in the ground here.
