Caen Burn - There are numerous small mounds of the usual type scattered along the side of the glen .

RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.

These small insignificant mounds are stone clearance heaps. Both banks of the Caen Burn have been heavily populated at one time (See ND01NW 7, ND01NW 8, ND01NW 9, ND01NW 10, ND01NW 41 ).
