ND02SE 16 centred 067 206.

Centred at ND 067 206 and levelled into a S-facing slope are two circular, stone-walled huts.

Hut 'A' measures 8.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to 2.5m all round. Several inner facing-stones are visible in the N and E arcs and an occasional measurements or wall thickness. The simple entrance is in the SSE.

Hut 'B' measures 7.0m in diameter between the centres of a peat-covered wall spread to about 3.0m. The simple entrance is in the S. There are several heavily peat- covered stone clearance heaps and traces of probably contemporary walls in the area, but peat growth hides details of cultivation plots.

Visited by OS (I S S) 21 April 1972.

The hut circles (A and B) are as described by the previous OS field surveyor. At ND 0670 2059 is a further example (C), measuring 6.5m NW-SE by 5.5m transversely within a heather-covered wall 0.2m average height and spread to 2.0m. The entrance, of simple form, is in the SE.

Huts A-C surveyed at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (N K B) 8 November 1982.
