OS 6" map, Caithness, 2nd ed., (1907)

Nothing worthy of note was found when this cairn, of which hardly a trace remains, was cut through by a road.

Name Book 1872; RCAHMS 1911.

This cairn has been destroyed on the SW by the construction of a road, and on the NE by ploughing. All that remains is a grass-covered ridge, 1.0m maximum height and 2.0m maximum width, containing many rubble stones.

Revised at 1:2500.

'Burnt mound'. Trackway cutting reveals a section containing burnt and organically stained material. 14 by 7m and 1m high.
