NC96SE 35 9959 6319.

At NC 9959 6319, on a low knoll within a settlement of hut circles and field system (NC96SE 28) is heather-covered mound 7.5m in diameter by 0.7m high; the centre has been disturbed to 0.4m deep and a core content of medium sized slab and rounded stone is visible. The mound would appear to be a possible cairn, but it may be a large stone clearance heap.

Surveyed at 1:10,000.

Visited by OS (J M) 22 July 1981.
