(NC 831 609) A group of about ten apparent hut circles (RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909) which are, in fact, field clearance heaps quarried and mutilated until they give this erroneous impression. They average 4.5m in diameter and some of the mounds are still intact. The group covers an area about 100m NW-SE by 50m transversely and lies on a west-facing slope.

These mounds are typical of the stone clearance heaps usually associated with hut circle cultivation, but with no huts in evidence.
