OS 6"map, (1963)
These two features are hut circles and they lie within the depopulated township of Ach'na h-Uai'. 'A' has been built up on the SW side above a small burn. It measures 13.5m SE-NW x 10.0m within a wall depleted by robbing and spread to 2.0m where it survives. The entrance is in the SE. 'B' survives as a turf-covered semi-circular platform 1.2m high on the S side and truncated in the north by a wall of the township. Overall the platform measures roughly 16.0m E-W by about 13.5m. Traces of walling can be seen around the perimeter on the S side of the later wall; nothing can be discerned beyond it.
Except for one or two clearance heaps there are no clear traces of contemporary cultivation in the area, the surrounding ground having been cultivated in more recent times.
Revised at 1/10,000.
