A cist, 3ft 8ins long, 2ft wide and 1ft 10ins deep, formed of four flat slabs, is exposed between two great, earth-fast boulders about 8ft apart, the longer of which is 15ft long. The cist does not appear to have been covered by a cairn.

RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.

A cist as described by the RCAHMS.

Visited by OS (W D J) 15 April 1964.

The cist is as described. It is set into the top of a slight rise in the sides of which protrude three massive boulder-erratics to partially enclose the cist.

Visited by OS (J M) 31 August 1981.
