(NC 7568 0176) Undescribed circular feature shown.

OS 1:10,000 map, (1970)

On the W edge of a small contemporary field system, well marked by stone clearance heaps, and contained in the E by a field wall, is a hut circle. There is a later deserted settlement just to the S, see NC70SE 2.

The hut measures 7.5m in diameter within a wall composed of an inner face of contiguous slabs on edge, backed by rubble, with intermittent outer facing stones indicating a wall thickness of 1.4m widening to 2.0m at the entrance, 0.6m wide, in the S.

Visited by OS (J M) 31 July 1975.
