NC73NE 11 7826 3516.

At NC 7826 3516, on the SW-facing moorland slopes of Cnoc Molach within an area of hut circles and field system (See NC73NE 1), is a group of at least five incomplete stone rows. They are aligned from NNE to SSW, converging slightly towards the uphill NNE side. A total of twenty eight stones can be identified, of which at least seven have been moved or have fallen, whilst others are slightly displaced. The largest stone, 0.7m high, is at the south end. and three others immediately to the east, though fallen are larger than average; these probably mark the south extremity of the rows (note similarity to NC73SW 12). Most of the stones just protrude through the peat blanket, and would have been invisible but for heather-burning prior to field investigation.

Surveyed at 1:10 560.

Visited by OS (N K B) 26 April 1977.
