An Orkney-Cromarty type round cairn with a polygonal chamber, excavated by Horsburgh about 1867 and almost entirely destroyed by 1909. Most of the kerb of boulders, 57ft in diameter, remains but within this only a few large, displaced boulders lie about the site, most of the cairn material having been removed. Horsburgh noted that one of the stones of the chamber 'had two holes bored artificially a short way into each of its sides, but not quite opposite, the holes were about 3ins in diameter'.

The remains of a chambered cairn about 15m in diameter. The kerb of boulders survives intermittently, best preserved in the east and south. Several boulders within the kerb form no intelligible pattern.
