OS 6"map, (1963)

Three hut circles (A-C) and a circular enclosure (D) were found during fieldwork.

This is a settlement of four hut circles (A-D) in re-afforested ground of westerly aspect. The huts are in clearings and are broadly similar in type. Internal dimensions, 'A' to 'D' respectively, are 13.0 by 12.0m, 11.5m diameter, 15.0 by 13.5m and 11.0m diameter; the entrance in each is in the ESE quarter, and is on the longer axis when applicable. Walls are heather or turf-covered standing, in hut A to 0.6m high, and spread to 1.5-2.0m broad. A group of shielings (NC63NE 44) intrudes on the west side of the settlement.

Revised at 1/10,000.
