NC50NE 70 5857 0863 and 5861 0850.

At NC 5857 0863 and NC 5861 0850, within a field recently reseeded, are two poorly-preserved stone-walled hut circles (A and B respectively). 'A' is 11.0m NW-SE by 9.5m internally within a wall spread to 2.5m broad, though all details are obscured by heavy silting. The entrance was probably in the SE on the longer axis.

A track bisects hut B and only the north half survives. The hut is 12.5m across internally within a wall spread to 3.0m. The wall content of earth and stone rubble is exposed where the track cuts. A few scattered clearance heaps occur in the area, but no plots as such are discernible.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (N K B) 13 August 1976.
