(NC 3857 6768) Hut Circle (NR)

OS 6" map, (1962)

Enclosure.

R W K Reid 1968.

A sub-oval enclosure, situated on low ground NW of the northern inlet of Loch Borralaidh, found and classified as a hut circle by the previous field investigator. It measures 5.0m NE-SW by 4.0m internally. It is delimited in the SW half by a limestone crag up to 1.5m high and in the NE by intermittent toothed or pointed slabs on edge averaging 0.5m high and backed by a small scatter of stones. No entrance is visible. The location and structural details of the feature are most unlike those encountered in hut circles.

Visited by OS (J L D) 10 April 1960 and (J B) 27 November 1978.
