O.S.6"map, Orkney, 2nd ed.,(1903).

"... a heather-grown mound about 22ft diameter and 2ft high with stones showing round the margin as well as on the sides. The centre has been partially opened."

RCAHMS 1946. Visited August 1928.

A grass-covered tumulus of earth and a few small stones, situated near the edge of a ploughed field on a false crest, as described by the Commission.

Resurveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS(RL) 29 April 1966.
