What may have been a roughly circular pen is levelled into a gentle, heather-covered, slope to the WSW of the sheepfold (NO 08NW 19.07). The pen measures about 2m in diameter internally and the interior has been scooped out to a depth of 0.4m, suggesting that it may have been a butt. Parallel lines of low boulders extend for about 5m to the S.
