The site of St. Mary's Kirk, known as Marykirk, is still

visible.

The foundation has never been planned, but is roughly 36ft

long E-W and 14ft wide, with possibly an apse or chancel at E end

and doorway in W end. Only a few larger foundation stones remain.

Possibly was the site of a broch. Site broken up about 50

years ago. [R1]
