A roughly crescentic mound, grass-covered but a few burnt

stones showing, 23m x 14m x 2m high, occupying the space between

two converging streamlets in the boggy bottom of a shallow

valley. RGL Jun 79.

Geophysical survey confirms this site as probable burnt mound and suggests possible structure to E. Hunter and Dockrill 1991, p28
