Nothing is visible of this house, which was demolished about 1955, and its site is now occupied by modern houses (Bush Road). The house is depicted on a mid-18th century estate map (Foulis 1758-9), at which time Bush Farm was owned by a Mr Wallace. The 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Buteshire 1869, Sheet CCIV) depicts the house as a long building, orientated NW and SE, and set within a large garden approached via a driveway from the W. The 2nd edition of the 25-inch map (1897, Sheet CCIV.6) shows that by the end of the 19th century two ranges, one with a horse-engine adjacent to its SE side, had been built immediately E of the house.
