A plot of lazy bed cultivation can be seen on the grassy slopes at the NE end of Dun. The furrows are aligned from NE to SW and are interrupted by an area of outcrop. To the SE of this outcrop the lazy beds are 2.4m broad and up to 0.3m high with the furrows between measuring up to 1.7m in breadth; to the NW of the outcrop the lazy beds are narrower with a much sharper profile, the beds measuring 1.3m in breadth and 0.45m in height and the furrows are 1.3m broad.
