Aerial photography has revealed the cropmark of an enclosure in a loop of the Mill Burn immediately W of Little Kilchattan farmsteading. Roughly circular on plan, the enclosure measures about 45m in diameter within a ditch about 4m in breadth, but no ditch is visible on the SE, where the slope down to the burn is naturally steeper than elsewhere on the circuit and where the ditch may well have been eroded.
