The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. Ornsay harbour is presumably the area between Ornsay (to the SE) and the island of Skye (to the W and NW). The 1998 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map notes Harbour [NAT] around NG 705 128.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), presumably accepting her successful recovery.
