At NH 513 318, close by the east bank of a burn at the edge of two field systems associated with settlements of hut circles (See NH 53 SW 10 & 11) is an oval burnt mound measuring about 16.0m across and over 1.0m high, with a central depression. Erosion of vegetation reveals a content of heat-stained, friable stones. Site discovered and pointed out by Mr Younie (Mr J Younie, farmer, Garbeg)
