At NC 7382 3206, situated close to a settlement of hut circles (NC73SE 5), is a low heather-covered burnt mound. It measures 7.5m N-S by 6.0m with a distinct depression running E-W through it. A marshy water course issues immediately to the W of the mound. A trial dig revealed contents of blackened earth, burnt stones and flakes of charcoal.
