NR 398 648. Immediately S of Knocklearoch farm-buildings there are two standing stones of local limestone, situated 2.4m apart on a line running approximately ENE and WSW. The W stone is triangular at the base, measuring 0.65m by 0.90m by 1.5m and tapers to a pointed top; it leans towards the S but if upright would stand 1.95m high. The E stone is also triangular and measures 0.80m by 0.80m by 0.70m at the base. It, too, is tilted out of the vertical to the S but would be 1.70m high if erect; a pronounced natural fissure has caused part of the stone to break off.
