On the SW shoulder of Water Hill, about 300m E of Cluseburn farmhouse, there are the remains of at least five cairns and an enclosure. The first cairn, situated on the summit, measures 14m in diameter and 1 m in height; 17m to the NW, a second, smaller, cairn has recently been reduced by ploughing to a mere spread of stones, and 105m to the W there is a third cairn, about 13.5m in diameter and 0.6m high. The fourth and fifth cairns, situated 55m SSE and 105m SE respectively of the first, are visible as low stony mounds. The enclosure, which lies 28m SE of the summit cairn, measures 10.3m by 9.6m within a low stony bank up to 3m thick on each side of the entrance on the E.
