This cairn measures 25m in maximum diameter and 3.3m in height, and was trenched in the 1920s. The mound appears to be of composite construction comprising a central cist covered by a small cairn, and an outer casing of earth. The cist was built on the old ground surface and contained the remains of an inhumation. In the outer casing of the mound, on the S side, there was a disturbed cist, while immediately below the surface of the summit, an inverted Cordoned Urn (NMAS EA 201) containing a cremation was found.
