Broch, West Houlland.

On the top of a knoll immediately behind a crofter's house at West Houlland, 200 ft. above the sea, are the foundations of a broch. On the S. and S.E. the line of the outer face of the wall is sufficiently distinct to justify an estimate of approximately 61 ft. for the over-all diameter. Dwelling houses encroach upon the N. portion of the site.

RCAHMS 1946, visited 8 July 1931.
