Burials, Balinakill (Sites).
Immediately S. of the junction of the public road with the drive leading to Balinakill there is a small mound on which stands the stone cross (RCAHMS 1971) No. 260. The mound is very heavily overgrown with shrubs, but appears to be a natural feature. It is reported (Name Book No. 11, p.47) that a number of "urns" were found in it during the 19th century, but no further details are known.
