NO 71348 72084 A watching brief was undertaken, 30–31

May 2018, during topsoil stripping for a new road to

seven housing plots. Rig and furrow cultivation ridges

were recorded across the trench. No other features were

identified but three quartzite objects were found in the

topsoil: a core with two platforms, a core or short endscraper

and a short end-scraper probably dating to the

Middle or Late Bronze Age.
