This small farmstead, probably an early example of a planned croft, was surveyed in more detail in 2019. On closer examination, the blackhouse incorporates two window openings in its ESE wall, a feature found in other improved blackhouses on Pabbay (e.g. NF88NE 5.05), and on the island of St Kilda (e.g. NF09NE 40). The kiln-barn incorporates a winnowing hole in its W wall, and steps set into the E wall provide external access to the wall-head.
