The Haughhead Bridge crosses the River Clyde, connecting Uddingston on the E with Blantyre Parish on the W. Built in 1840, it is a 4-span bridge, originally called the Red Brig due to the red sandstone from which it was constructed. Clydeneuk Lodge (NS66SE 106), a toll-house contemporary with the bridge, lies 70m upstream on the east bank.
