In 1876-9 John Burnet re-fronted David Hamilton’s Union Bank of 1841, which in turn was a redevelopment of the 18th century Buchanan Mansion.The bank was converted into Sheriff Courts and Justice of the Peace Courts. It has now been converted into the Corinthian, a suite of exclusive bars and restaurants.
