Scope and Content Fort at Law Hill, Arnbathie, Perth and Kinross This large fort is situated on Law Hill, Arnbathie, near Scone. It is a multi-period site and appears to have at least three construction phases. This view shows part of the 6m thick rampart which formed the last phase of construction on the fort. A more recent dyke has been built on top of it. Beyond the rampart can be seen the remains of earlier defences. The complex sequence of construction on the site cannot be understood without excavation. Two hut-circles, 12.3m and 8.2 m in diameter, have been located immediately below the fort, and a Bronze Age cairn stands on the highest point. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
