Scope and Content Possible henge monument at Marlefield, Perth and Kinross This possible henge was discovered as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. It is defined by a broad ditch which is broken by an entrance causeway on the E. The ditch of the henge is visible as a dark penannular ring in the centre of this aerial photograph. The small ring-ditch, which lies beside it, can also be seen. It too has an entrance, but this opens to the NW. Both have a pit in the interior. This possible henge has been ploughed flat and is situated in the middle of a field, together with a small ring-ditch and several pits. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
