Description Camster, Long - Excavation of NW wall and the old ground surface 20 negatives of the cairn wall between 27 - 30m N, plus the old ground surface at 27 - 29m N: 2-5: Section through the NW wall at 30m N. 6-9: Section through the NW wall at 27m N. 10: Old ground surface at 27 - 29m N after the removal of the basal courses on the NW side of the cairn. Note the stone holes. 11-12: S face of section through the cairn at 29.5m N. 13-15: NW cairn wall at 27m N. 16-18: NW cairn wall at 29m N. Some packing has been removed. 19-21: NW cairn wall between 27 -29m N before the addition of further wall stones.
