Scope and Content Scottish Railway Preservation Society's Depot, Falkirk, Stirlingshire This depot was rented by the society from British Railways on a year to year basis. It was basically a corrugated iron transit shed where iron castings from the various Falkirk foundries were sorted by destination for shipment by rail. This view shows the shed in the background, with an assortment of the society's steam and diesel locomotives. The society is now based in Bo'ness, and this depot has been demolished and the site used for housing. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
