Scope and Content Blairdrummond Sawmill, Kincardine, Perthshire This was an exceptionally fine water-powered estate sawmill, though by the time this photograph was taken it was electrically driven. This view shows the mill from the south east, with the high-breast bucket waterwheel on the right, and the derrick crane fixed to the front of the mill. In front of the crane are the rollers to feed the rack sawbench inside the mill. This mill was largely destroyed by fire not long after this photograph was taken.
