Scope and Content Bruce Arms Inn (now Falkland Arms Hotel), High Street, Falkland, Fife Bruce Arms Inn (now the Falkland Arms Hotel) was probably begun in the early 17th century and enlarged in the 19th century. The first-floor windows have roll-moulded surrounds and probably date from 1607, the year given on the datestone. The second floor and the pilasters or flattened pillars around the entrances were probably added in the early 19th century. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
