Date 8/1960

Collection Records of the Scottish National Buildings Record, Edinburgh, Scotland

Catalogue Number SC 395147

Category On-line Digital Images

Copy of F 4126/26

Scope and Content Front, Rosebery House, 9 King Street, Inverkeithing, Fife The name, Rosebery House, commemorates the Earl of Rosebery who bought it between 1704 and 1711, but it was probably built in the 16th century. Extensive 17th and 18th centuries alterations give it the appearance of being a Georgian (1714-1830) building. From the front, partly because of the doorway, the main block looks as if it was built in the Georgian period. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
