Scope and Content Providence House, 14 High Street, Inverkeithing, Fife Providence House was probably built in 1688, the date inscribed over its entrance, by Isobel Bairdie. Though the house has been heavily altered, original details survive including the crow-stepped gable, the window-surrounds and the main entrance (facing) Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
