Scope and Content Settlement at Rigfoot, Dumfries and Galloway Now completely levelled, this site lies upon the crest of a low hillock about 402m west of Rigfoot Cottage. Clearly defined on this oblique aerial photograph, the enclosure at Rigfoot comprises a broad ditch with a single well defined entrance. No evidence for internal buildings has yet been detected.
