Scope and Content View from Kirk Wynd of Old Parish Church, Kirk Wynd, Kirkcaldy, Fife Kirkcaldy Old Parish Church dates from about 1500 when the tower was built. However, the present main block of the church was built in 1806-8 by James Elliot, replacing an earlier structure. The square belfry above the parapet is a later addition. The roof and turrets of Elliot's block are visible to the right of the tower. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
