Scope and Content Pre-restoration view of 443-449 Sailor's Walk, Kirkcaldy, Fife 443-449 Sailor's Walk was built in the 17th century as two houses, each of T-shaped plan. They were extensively repaired in 1954-9 under National Trust ownership. This distant view, taken before the neighbouring buildings were rebuilt, shows the T-shaped plan of the south house. The cross of the T runs from left to right, with its gable facing the street. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
