Scope and Content Bishop Kennedy's tomb, St Salvator's College Church, St Andrews, Fife St Salvator's College Church was built in about 1450 by Bishop Kennedy as part of his newly-founded St Salvator's College of which it is the only surviving structure. Bishop Kennedy was buried in this tomb. Its design and carvings suggest that its craftsmen were French, or French-influenced. To the left is one of the church's octagonal-headed doors - a rare type of door unique to the 15th century. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
