Scope and Content Partially reconstructed plan of south windows of chancel in Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll Dunstaffnage Chapel's original architectural details date it to 1225-50. The burial aisle was added in 1740 when the main building was already ruinous. This was for the use of the Campbells of Dunstaffnage, hereditary Captains of Dunstaffnage castle. The two windows on the south side of the chancel are the mirror-image of those on the north side. The eastern windows (left) have more ornate mouldings. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
